A stunning 30% of the country’s GDP is based on income generated through tourism. Its beautiful coastlines are a tourist magnet, with white sandy beaches and clear blue water that are recognized globally. The Bahamas also host an annual festival, Junkanoo, an energetic, colourful parade of live music and dance which pays homage to their West African and colonial British roots.
