وعن أبي عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏ إن الله عز وجل يقبل توبة العبد ما لم يغرغر‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏(رياض الصالحين 18)

Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah accepts a slave's repentance as long as the latter is not on his death bed (that is, before the soul of the dying person reaches the throat)".
[At-Tirmidhi, who categorised it as Hadith Hasan] [Riyad as-Salihin 18].

Selon ‘Abdulâh Ibn ‘Omar (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), le Prophète d’Allah (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lui) a dit : « Allah glorifié et honoré accepte le repentir de l’esclave (l’homme) tant qu’il n’est pas à l’agonie de la mort ». | Hadith rapporté par Tirmidhi [Riyad as-Salihin 18]

Surat Al-Kahf

وعن زر بن حبيش قال‏:‏ أتيت صفوان بن عسال رضي الله عنه أسأله عن المسح على الخفين فقال‏:‏ ما جاء بك يازر‏؟‏ فقلت‏:‏ ابتغاء العلم، فقال‏:‏ إن الملائكة تضع أجنحتها لطالب العلم رضي بما يطلب، فقلت‏:‏ من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فجئت أسألك‏:‏ هل سمعته يذكر في ذلك شيئاً‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ نعم، كان يأمرنا إذا كنا سفراً- أو مسافرين- أن لا ننزع خفافناً ثلاثة أيام ولياليهن إلا من جنابة، ولكن من غائط وبول ونوم‏.‏ فقلت‏:‏ سفر، فبينا نحن عنده إذ ناداه أعرابى بصوت له جهورى‏:‏ يا محمد، فأجابه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نحواً من صوته‏:‏ ‏"‏هاؤم‏"‏ فقلت له‏:‏ ويحك اغضض من صوتك فإنك عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وقد نهيت عن هذا‏!‏ فقال‏:‏ والله لا أغضض‏.‏ قال الأعرابى‏:‏ المرء يحب القوم ولما يلحق بهم‏؟‏ قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏"‏ المرء مع من أحب يوم القيامة‏"‏ فما زال يحدثنا حتى ذكر باباً من المغرب مسيرة عرضه أو يسير الراكب في عرضه أربعين أو سبعين عاماً‏.‏ قال سفيان أحد الرواة قبل الشام خلقه الله تعالى يوم خلق السماوات والأرض مفتوحاً للتوبة لا يغلق حتى تطلع الشمس منه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وغيره وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏(رياض الصالحين 19).‏

Zirr bin Hubaish reported:
I went to Safwan bin 'Assal (May Allah be pleased with him) to inquire about wiping with wet hands over light boots while performing Wudu'. He asked me, "What brings you here, Zirr?" I answered: "Search for knowledge". He said, "Angels spread their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of joy for what he seeks". I told him, "I have some doubts in my mind regarding wiping of wet hands over light boots in the course of performing Wudu' after defecation or urinating. Now since you are one of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ), I have come to ask you whether you heard any saying of the Prophet (ﷺ) concerning it?". He replied in the affirmative and said, "He (ﷺ) instructed us that during a journey we need not take off our light boots for washing the feet up to three days and nights, except in case of major impurity (after sexual intercourse). In other cases such as sleeping, relieving oneself or urinating, the wiping of wet hands over light boots will suffice." I, then, questioned him, "Did you hear him say anything about love and affection?" He replied, "We accompanied the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a journey when a bedouin called out in a loud voice, 'O Muhammad.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied him in the same tone, 'Here I am.' I said to him (the bedouin), 'Woe to you, lower your voice in his presence, because you are not allowed to do so.' He said, 'By Allah! I will not lower my voice,' and then addressing the Prophet (ﷺ) he said, 'What about a person who loves people but has not found himself in their company.' Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied, 'On the Day of Resurrection, a person will be in the company of those whom he loves.' The Messenger of Allah then kept on talking to us and in the course of his talk, he mentioned a gateway in the heaven, the width of which could be crossed by a rider in forty or seventy years".

Sufyan, one of the narrators of this tradition, said: "This gateway is in the direction of Syria. Allah created it on the day He created the heavens and the earth. It is open for repentance and will not be shut until the sun rises from that direction (i.e., the West) (on Doomsday)".

Zirr Ibn Houbeysh a dit : « Je me rendis chez Safwân Ibn ‘Assal (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), pour l’interroger sur le passage des mains sur les chaussures (permission réservée au voyageur, dans ses ablutions, de ne pas se déchausser mais de passer ses mains mouillées sur ses chaussures). Il me dit : « Qu’est ce qui te fait venir, O Zirr ? ». Je dis : « La recherche du savoir ». Il dit : « Les Anges baissent leurs ailes (par respect et humilité) devant celui qui se consacre à la recherche du savoir ». Je dis « Mon esprit n’a pas accepté la permission du passage des mains après les défections et l’urine, et tu es l’un des Compagnons du Prophète (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lui). Je suis donc venu te demander si tu l’as entendu dire pareille chose ». Il dit « Oui, et il nous ordonnait, quand nous étions en voyage, de ne pas nous déchausser durant trois jours avec leurs nuits sauf en cas de souillure majeur (rapport sexuel) à l’exception des défécations, de l’urine et du sommeil. » Je dis : « L’as-tu entendu dire quelque chose au sujet de ceux que l’on aime ? ». Il dit : « Oui. Nous étions avec le Messager d’Allah (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lui) dans un voyage. Alors que nous étions auprès de lui, voilà qu’un bédouin l’appela d’une voix qu’il avait bien forte : « O Mohammad ! » Le Messager d’Allah (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lui) lui répondit à peu près sur le même ton : « Me voici ! ». Je dis au bédouin : « Malheur à toi ! Baisse un peu ta voix ! ». Il dit : « Par Allah je ne baisserai pas ma voix ». Puis il dit : « L’homme aime certaines gens mais ne peut atteindre leur niveau (pour être avec eux au Paradis), dis moi ce que tu en penses ! ». Le Prophète (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lui) lui dit : « Au jour de la résurrection, l’homme est avec ceux qu’il a aimé ». Puis il ne cessa de nous parler jusqu’à ce qu’il cita une porte qui s’ouvrira de l’Occident et dont la largeur équivaudrait au parcours du cavalier durant quarante ou soixante dix ans. Souyân, l’un des narrateurs, dit : « Cette porte s’ouvrira du côté de la Syrie. Allah exalté l’a créée le jour même où il créa les cieux et la terre, ouverte au repentir et ne se refermant que lorsque le soleil se lèvera de son côté ». | Hadith rapporté par Tirmidhi [Riyad as-Salihin 19]

عن أبي هريرة، رضي الله عنه ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏ إن الله تعالى يغار، وغيرة الله ، تعالى، أن يأتي المرء ما حرم الله عليه‏"‏ ‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏(رياض الصالحين 64).‏

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Verily, 'Allah, the Exalted, becomes angry, and His Anger is provoked when a person does what Allah has declared unlawful".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim] [Riyad as-Salihin 64].

Selon Abou Hourayra (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), le Prophète (Paix et bénédictions d'Allah sur Lui) a dit : « Allah - Le Très Haut - est jaloux. Ce qui provoque la jalousie d'Allah - le Très-Haut - c’est quand l’homme fait ce qu'Allah lui interdit de faire » | Rapporté par Al-Boukhari et Mouslim [Riyad as-Salihin 64].

عن أبي يعلى شداد بن أوس رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏ الكيس من دان نفسه، وعمل لما بعد الموت ، والعاجز من أتبع نفسه هواها، وتمنى على الله الأماني‏"‏ (‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن‏)(رياض الصالحين 66).‏

Shaddad bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrains from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit him after death; and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seeks from Allah the fulfillment of his vain desires".
[At-Tirmidhi][Riyad as-Salihin 66].

Selon Abou Ya’la Ibn Aws (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), le Prophète (Paix et bénédictions d'Allah sur Lui) a dit : « L'homme sensé est celui qui se demande des comptes et œuvre en vue de ce qui vient après la mort. L'homme faible est celui qui se laisse guider par ses passions en espérant qu’Allah lui pardonne. » | Rapporté par At-Tirmidhi (Sheikh Al-Albani - qu'Allah lui fasse miséricorde à dit que c'est un hadith faible n°4305 dans les hadiths faibles d'Al-Jami') [Riyad as-Salihin 66].

عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ ‏"‏إنكم لتعملون أعمالاً هي أدق في أعينكم من الشعر، كنا نعدها على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من الموبقات‏"‏ (‏رواه البخاري )(رياض الصالحين 63).‏

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
You indulge in (bad) actions which are more insignificant to you than a hair while we considered them at the time of Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to be great destroying sins".
[Al-Bukhari] [Riyad as-Salihin 63].

Anas (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), a dit : « Vous commettez des actes qui n'ont, à vos yeux, que très peu d'importance alors que du temps du Messager d'Allah (Paix et bénédictions d'Allah sur Lui) nous les considérions comme des péchés mortels » | Rapporté par Al-Boukhari [Riyad as-Salihin 63].

عن ابن عباس، رضي الله عنهما، قال‏:‏ ‏"‏ كنت خلف النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، يوماً فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏ يا غلام إني أعلمك كلمات‏:‏ ‏"‏احفظ الله يحفظك، احفظ الله تجده تجاهك، إذا سألت فاسأل الله ، وإذا استعنت فاستعن بالله، واعلم‏:‏ أن الأمة لو اجتمعت على أن ينفعوك بشيء، لم ينفعوك إلا بشيء قد كتبه الله لك، وإن اجتمعوا على أن يضروك بشيء، لم يضروك بشيء إلا بشيء قد كتبه الله عليك؛ رفعت الأقلام، وجفت الصحف‏"‏ (‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح)‏ (رياض الصالحين 62)‏‏.

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
One day, I was riding behind the Prophet (ﷺ) when he said, "O boy! I will instruct you in some matters. Be watchful of Allah (Commandments of Allah), He will preserve you. Safeguard His Rights, He will be ever with you. If you beg, beg of Him Alone; and if you need assistance, supplicate to Allah Alone for help. And remember that if all the people gather to benefit you, they will not be able to benefit you except that which Allah had foreordained (for you); and if all of them gather to do harm to you, they will not be able to afflict you with anything other than that which Allah had pre-destined against you. The pens had been lifted and the ink had dried up".
[At- Tirmidhi][Riyad as-Salihin 62].


Abdallah ben Abbas (qu’Allah soit satisfait de lui et de son père) a dit: « J'étais un jour derrière le Prophète (Paix et bénédictions d'Allah sur Lui) (en croupe sur sa mule), et il me dit: « Ô Garçon ! Je vais t'enseigner quelques préceptes. Observe les commandements d’Allah, il te protégera. Observe les commandements d’Allah, tu le trouveras devant toi. Lorsque tu as à demander quelque chose, demande à Allah. Lorsque tu as à implorer assistance, implore assistance auprès d'Allah. Sache que si la communauté est d'accord, à l'unanimité, pour te faire quelque bien, cela ne te profitera que dans la mesure où Allah te l'aurait assigné, et si elle est d'accord à l'unanimité pour te causer quelque tort, tu n'en pâtiras en rien, sinon dans la mesure où Allah en aurait ainsi décidé à ton encontre. Certes, les calames sont levés et l'encre des feuillets a séché ». | Rapporté par Ahmed, At-Tirmidhî et Ad-Dârimî - Hadith authentique selon Sheikh Al-Albani (Sahih Al-Jami' n°87) [Riyad as-Salihin 62].

عن أبي ذر جندب بن جنادة، وأبي عبد الرحمن معاذ بن جبل، رضي الله عنهما، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏ اتق الله حيثما كنت واتبع السيئة الحسنة تمحها، وخالق الناس بخلق حسن‏"‏ (‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن)(رياض الصالحين 61)‏‏.

Abu Dharr and Mu'adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Fear Allah wherever you are, do good deeds after doing bad ones, the former will wipe out the latter, and behave decently towards people".
[At- Tirmidhi] [Riyad as-Salihin 61].

Selon Abou Dharr et et Mou’adh Ibn Jabal (qu'Allah soit satisfait d'eux), L'Envoyé d'Allah (Paix et bénédictions d'Allah sur Lui) a dit : « Crains Allah où que tu sois. Fais suivre la mauvaise action par la bonne action, celle-ci l'effacera. Comporte toi avec les gens en faisant preuve d'une haute moralité » | Rapporté par Ahmed, At-Tirmidhî et Ad-Dârimî - Hadith bon selon Sheikh Al-Albani (Sahih Al-Jami' n°87) [Riyad as-Salihin 61].

عن أبي خالد حكيم بن حزام‏.‏ رضي الله عنه ، قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ البيعان بالخيار مالم يتفرقا، فإن صدقاً وبينا بورك لهما في بيعهما، وإن كتما وكذبا محقت بركة بيعهما‏"‏ ‏(متفق عليه)‏(رياض الصالحين 59)‏.‏

Hakim bin Hizam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Both parties in a business transaction have a right to annul it so long as they have not separated; and if they tell the truth and make everything clear to each other (i.e., the seller and the buyer speak the truth, the seller with regard to what is purchased, and the buyer with regard to the money) they will be blessed in their transaction, but if they conceal anything and lie, the blessing on their transaction will be eliminated."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim] [Riyad as-Salihin 59].

D'après Hakim Ibn Hizâm (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), Messager d’Allah (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lu) a dit : « Le vendeur et l'acheteur restent libres (de conclure la vente ou de l'annuler) jusqu'à ce qu'ils se séparent. S'ils ont été sincères et s'ils n'ont rien caché des défauts de leurs marchandises, Allah bénit leur vente. Mais s'ils ont caché ces défauts et s'ils ont menti, la bénédiction leur sera ôtée. ».| Rapporté par Al-Boukhari et Mouslim [Riyad as-Salihin 59].

عن أبي ثابت، وقيل أبي سعيد، وقيل أبي الوليد، سهل بن حنيف ، وهو بدري، رضي الله عنه، أن النبي ، صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏من سأل الله، تعالى، الشهادة بصدق بلغه الله منازل الشهداء، وإن مات على فراشه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏  ‏(رياض الصالحين 57)‏.‏

Abu Thabit from Sahl bin Hunaif (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He who asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will raise him to the high status of the martyrs, even if he dies on his bed".
[Muslim] [Riyad as-Salihin 57].

Sahl Ibn Houneyf (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui), un ancien de la bataille de Badr rapporte : « Le Prophète (Paix et bénédiction d'Allah sur lu) a dit : « Celui qui demande sincèrement à Allah - Le Trés Haut- de faire de lui un martyr, Allah lui fait atteindre le degré des martyrs même s'il meurt dans son lit ».| Rapporté par Al-Boukhari et Mouslim [Riyad as-Salihin 57].

ن أبي سفيان صخر بن حرب ، رضي الله عنه، في حديثه الطويل في قصة هرقل، قال هرقل‏:‏ فماذا يأمركم -يعنى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال أبو سفيان‏:‏ قلت ‏:‏يقول ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ اعبدوا الله وحده لا تشركوا به شيئاً، واتركوا ما يقول آباؤكم ، ويأمرنا بالصلاة، والصدق، والعفاف، والصلة‏"‏ ‏‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏ ‏. ‏(رياض الصالحين 56)

Abu Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported, in course of his detailed narration about Heraclius when the latter questioned him about the teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) He said that:
He (ﷺ) told (us): "Worship Allah Alone and do not associate a thing with Him; and give up all that your ancestors said. "He also commands us to perform Salat (prayers), to speak the truth, to observe modesty and to strengthen the ties of kinship. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] [Riyad as-Salihin 56].

Abou Soufyân Ibn Harb (qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui),, dans son long récit concernant Héraclius, a dit : « Héraclius nous demanda (au sujet du Prophète) : « Quelles sont les prescriptions qu'il vous fait ? ». Je répondis : « Il nous dit d'adorer Allah seul et unique sans Lui rien associer, de laisser ce que disent nos pères (c'est-à-dire d'abandonner nos anciennes croyances). Il nous ordonne aussi de faire la prière, d'avoir des mœurs pures et de respecter les liens de parenté » . | Rapporté par Al-Boukhari et Mouslim [Riyad as-Salihin 56].
